So much to record...so little time!

I have so many things I want to record here! Not just for the people who read this, but for myself as well. I use this as my journal, and transfer all the entries into a written book. The book hasn't been touched in months!

Things like the "no" fist. The one when Will points the back of his fist at you and says, "no" in a high-pitched voice. Or how their favorite song is the ABC's. Ever since we started singing it to them in Denver, they sing it constantly! And now they can sing almost all of the letters. It was missing a few for a while. And they can count to 10! Higher, if they repeat the numbers while watching Sesame street. They still dance to songs, and now request "gin" (hard "g"), for me to play it "again". They tattle. Claire tattles on Will for removing the lid from his snack cup, or for drinking her milk ("Will - drink - Claire - milk!"). Will tells mommy to hold the rail on the stairs, and Claire tells daddy to "buckle in" before we've left the driveway. Will was the first to finish his dinner last night, and started to clean up the living room! Putting things away where they go, or handing them to us to hang up, etc. They ask for "nose wipeys", and cream for their itchies and ouchies. Instead of getting the other shoe, they declare a need for "the other one shoe". Band-aids are "rubber bands", and they're always looking for daddy's (he always has a band-aid!). Anything in a box with an inner bag is a cracker, and they bless whoever just sneezed or coughed. Pleases come after a request, but thank yous are abundant. Claire thanks EVERYONE ;) Trains go, "dugga, choo-choo!", and they love family and friends to visit. Any time I get off the phone, I hear "bye bye Ah-Mia" or "bye-bye Dee Dee". And frequently, Will runs through everyone he knows, telling me they're all at home ("Nonni home...Poppi home...AJJ home..."). Claire is obsessed with closing doors, but when one of us leaves the master bedroom door open, it's a mad dash to get in. Claire immediately finds the potties I've been painting, and sits on them, declaring, "Claire tinkled". Will races around the bed to find the nearest chapstick, saying "LIP! LIP!" before finding one, snapping off the lid, and rubbing it on and near his lips. He frequently likes to apply it to mommy and daddy as well. He also likes feeding our friends' babies. Poor Myla's gotten a sippy cup shoved in her mouth a few times, and Vincent has learned to dodge it. The stairs are now a place to lay down and wait for the sibling to climb over them to get up the stairs, and perform the same duty. It's like their own little form of leap frog. They like to be covered up by their lamb blankets in their crib, and if they can acquire a blanket (large or small) otherwise, they lay on the floor, ask to be covered up, and close their eyes feigning sleep. A few seconds later you hear, "wake up!", and it's busy bees all over again. Last night, they covered their bunnies up on the floor with small blankets. So cute!

I could go on (and probably will!), but it's getting late. Thanks for letting me get a few things into my "journal"! Stay tuned for new videos and pictures soon...
